Irene Taylor
Irene Taylor was born in Manchester. She studied Surface Pattern Design at Stockport College of Art for five years, gaining a L.I.S.A.
She travelled extensively before eventually moving to the Pennines. Irene has lived for the past eleven years in Wales, working as a textile designer, mostly for the U.S.A. market. The past couple of years has seen Irene focus more and more on her Art, undertaking many commissions. Working from her home studio,which incorporates a small gallery which is open to the public all year round, she paints “anything and everything” using various media.
