Malcolm Douglas Mclean
Landscape artist now :living in Wales, Malcolm has a 1st Class Honours B.A. in Fine Art
Having held many one man exhibitions in Arts Centres, Art galeries and stately homes, including Dillington House and Taunton Castle Gallery.
Once Head of Art and Design at a large school, he also taught adult art groups for several years.
While painting and working in the south of England he also produced set designs for the theatre, including South Pacific, Fiddler on the Roof, Bugsy Malone, Midsummer Nights Dream, and many others. He also produced sets for local pantomimes.
He painted the backcloth for the London production of ‘Cats’ on tour.
Hie has also worked on set designs for television, including the programme’ Harbour Lights’.
Painting is his great love and his work depicts the rugged splendour and beauty of North Wales.
