Philip Snow
Living in Anglesey, Philip Snow has illustrated or contributed to more than 80 books, many magazines, and has produced prints, cards, calendars and reserve guides. His books include Collins Field Notebook of British Birds, River Birds: Bird Life From Mountain Stream to Estuary, published by Columbus Books, and Collins Birds by Behaviour Guide. For many years, he regularly featured in BBC Wildlife magazine, as well as RSPB Birds, Birdwatching and Country Life, and many more.
His latest books, which he has both written and illustrated, are Light & Flight – A Hebridean Wildlife & Landscape Sketchbook and The Design & Origin of Birds – published by Brown & Whittaker, and DayOne Publications, respectively. Philip is widely exhibited, including the Mall Galleries, Tryon Gallery and the Barbican, and featured in the Royal Academy ‘British Art’ Show in the Gulf States.
